In this video we are in Urfa aka Sanliurfa, a city located 50km from the Syrian border in southeast Turkey and we are going to show you why we love Urfa so much, hint - it's all about the people.
Urfa is absolutely SAFE for tourists despite being so close to the border with unstable Syria, in fact it was the place where we felt most welcomed and we recommend everyone to visit. There's no threats and nothing to fear.
Urfa has definitely a different vibe from the west of Turkey, Urfa gave us some middle eastern vibes maybe because there's a big population of Arabs here as well as Kurdish and Turkish. We absolutely love Urfa and it's people that have shown us the real Turkish hospitality.
