Hi from a Kiwi gal living in Fatih, Istanbul too 😊. I have been moved to tears by the kindness of the people here. My landlords have halved my rent and the lovely man who owns the teeny market downstairs has told me he will deliver anything I need from his shop. I'm not surprised you are being looked after by these awesome people. Its genuine kindness too. Rare in the world but so welcome

I travelled to Turkey in 1992 and i`ve been living there ever since. You won`t find better people anywhere in my opinion.

Dear Chris & Marianne, we have the lockdowns on weekends as well as on the National and religious holidays. So please be prepared for the next two long lockdowns, first one will be beginning this friday midnight till 19 May tuesday midnight for 4 days (19 May is the Youth & Sports Day), although it is not officially declared but most probably second one will begin 22 May friday midnight till 26 May tuesday midnight (it is religious holiday of Ramadan on 24-25-26 May) for 4 days again. So stay safe and just dm if you need anything, really anything. Loves from a Turkish follower..

On behalf of all TURKS I thank you both from bottom of my hearth for showing a big respect for our NATIONAL ANTHEM.
ALLAH YAR VE YARDIMCINIZ OLSUN ( MAY GOD BLESS YOU BOTH AND HELP TO HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY). We TURKS has an TURKISH idiom " komsusu ac iken tok yatan bizden degildir" ( if you sleep with full stomach when your neighbor is hungry, you are not one of us) meaning is that; we should not sleep with full stomach when our neighbor is hungry. Good luck with rest of your journey. Best regards with big LOVE.

I spent 4 months in a hospital bed after a scooter accident and told my mother to slow down as she drove me home at about 20mph! Thanks for all the great videos.

Lovely video. It makes me want to get lost in Turkey.

Now, we had a TTG Drinking Game first, I have to throw in the towel. I picked both of you and the word 'actually' which was brutal. It is Blursday here and I may have to work tomorrow.
