After three and half amazing weeks in Kazakhstan, i wanted to share some of my experiences and tips to hopefully help others. I barely scratched the surface of the country, but these area few things I learned along the way. if you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to leave a comment down below.

Welcome to my channel! I'm Patrick and this is Patmax Adventures! I'm originally from California and have been living abroad for the past four years. I decided to start this channel to share my experiences and passion for travel with others. My goal with this channel is to share and show as much as I can of the World. My focus will always be on the culture, food and of course the local people of everywhere I travel to! I'm an optimist and always try to highlight the positives of a place rather than just the negatives.Though I will also be bluntly honest at times too! If you love travel and exploring far away places, then you found the right place!

Join me in living every moment to the Max!! ^^

I agree with you completely that KZ is a perfectly safe country to be in. I walked around solo in Astana and Almaty at night with no issues at all. People are genuinely friendly and the policemen are very helpful too.

Thank you for sharing your experience!
Some updates are as following:
- From July 1st 2018 there are some changes in registering with migration, so those who get a visa with LOI do not need to register.
Please note that some countries that do not need visa still need to register with migration, e.g. Hong Kong, etc.
- buses are changing a bit. E.g. in Astana some buses do not have conductors and now everyone is learning to enter from the front door and pay to the driver or use a bus card (which is cheaper), and exit from middle and back doors ))

The waiter knew that you were a foreigner and wanted to show you that you need to treat Kazakhstan different from Russia)) Just this)

I just discovered ur channel and watched all your videos about KZ. I am glad u enjoyed ur time here. U r always welcome here and thank you very much for sharing ur experience and thoughts with others travelers as well as with us, local people. It was cute and funny when u were talking bout culture shock with taxi system here. We became so comfy with it that we dont usually think that smth bad can happen, it kinda gives a sense of community among locals and as u said it is very efficient. Anyways, thank u for all ur cool videos bout our country, we really appreciate it.

I’m from Utah and am planning to go to Kazakhstan next year. I’m also learning the Kazakh language. On the food, well I’m actually vegan. Hopefully the food sitch isn’t that bad, but if not then will just take food with me.

Thanks for the videos! They make me even more excited for my trip. Рахмет! :) -Kaydan
