The saddest thing about this is knowing that both most Russian people and most people of Ukraine want nothing to do with this. It's just the government systems. 🙏🏽 😣 🙏🏽

If Russia is realizing that this conflict could bring WWIII, then why are there no effort from their side to avoid it?

I think a lot of people in this era who have never experienced war or read a lot about the social experiences of wartime, might not realize that there's never a global consensus on "the official bell of war", but only news headliners and verbal passes, and reactions from people "as" people get killed, as soldiers get deployed, etc. The privilege in this era in America is that ppl are sitting around (no blame or judgment we just haven't been here yet) thinking "oh, there will be time to prepare, and somebody on the news will tell us when the "official war is starting". That's not what war is. It's not a synchronized AND structurally agreed-upon event on both, sides. It's a series of death experiments from one side, then a series of random responses from the other, or more sides. There never comes a "global consensus", only a thousand responses from the perpetuations of weapons and death. Don't be naïve and assume America will just know. Get your water stored, food, and fallout stuff just in case. Nothing wrong with being prepared.

He starts a war and then threatens Ukraine bc they defend themselves. What a hypocrite. He expects people to just lay down while he and the Russian army invades. A lot of people say we shouldn't blame the Russian people. Just like our Vietnam was stopped bc the people of America quit supporting it so should the Russian people.

Opinion: Threats like these are Putin's ego issues facing mirror of reality. It appears he is not going to live as long as he hoped and wants to make a name for himself, but in facing not having that, will take the world down. It's no different than what TFG would do.

"If someone is literally about to lose there country in a war due to sanctions and losses is there really any reason they'd somehow go down without the use of nuclear weapons?" When I thought about how bad sanctions could cripple a nation if used how NATO was using it. Then I thought well if things get bad it would suck for that nation but is Putin someone who is willing to accept losing with honor and dignity, without being a sore loser and blowing up everything as a result? I asked myself this question and it once again brings to my mind a question of whether or not the dead hand system is still active or not. Knowing this is a very critical thing imo. Whether or not it is we still can't allow Russia to win. Even with their threats if they walked around saying they and everyone cowered in fear they'd be able to take over the entire world.

"Russian official warns Ukraine conflict could bring WWIII" Why did they start it in the first place when the consequences can be that big? Couldn't they have warned Putin?

I love how they're cancelling Russia mid-war. That's like your ex blowing your house up, killing your family in the process and you decide it's time to delete those old pics of her.
